Yes, it does feel great to get to this point in the filmmaking process. And I have actually rather enjoyed the challenging task of self-distribution too.

I really can't tell you how much more fun things are having Spencer working with me on the film. At this point in the process, its basically just me and him. Trudging through the "unfun" technical stuff. But he always makes it enjoyable. He never makes me feel small for the things I don't know, always takes the time to explain things to me. He's just a really wonderful person, and I say with no hesitation that my memories of making this film would be in NO WAY as lovely if he wasn't involved. And that's not just said cause your his Mom. He's just a dreamboat editor and a truly fantastic person.

I hope this film can be a nice addition to his reel, but more than that - the starts of lots more work together.

I'll DEFINITELY send you the DVD as soon as the final versions are pressed up.
